Quake 3 arena railgun/freezetag PC?

I was wondering how you use the second feture (the lightning thing) of the railgun in quake 3 arena pc and how you thaw someone when playing freezeag./ Thanks


|||i am not sure what you mean by the lightning thing. usually freezetag only has a railgun. you might be talkin about the grapple which looks like the lightning. to use the grapple you have to bind a button to it. lets say you wanted to bind "f" to the grapple. first you would bring down the console by hitting ~ (the button to the left of 1) then type


/bind f +button5


then hit enter. you can use almost any key you want. so try that if the grapple is what your talking about. if not then i have no clue what your talkin about.





to thaw someone in freeze tag you just have to stand next to their frozen body. depending on the server rules you might have to stand next to them for 3 seconds or maybe 5. it will say on the screen when you melt them.
